Policies & Procedures

Emergency Procedure- In case of an EMERGENCY call the office. If after hours, our voicemail will have an emergency contact number to call.

Security Deposit Policy- We require deposits on all locations. 

Billing Policy- Statements are mailed out before the 15th day of each month, if statement is not received by the 17th, customer should contact the office. Payment is to be made on or before the 25th day of the month.

Landlord Policy- Rental property will comply with the terms in Section 7 regarding non-water fees for locked meters and the following policy: If the meter is locked, it will be the property owner's responsibility that all payments are up-to-date, including former renter's unpaid balance after former renter's deposit is applied and the $60 reconnection fee to restore service to meter for a new tenant. If water is to be left on, the property owner will be required to have an owner's deposit on file and pay the minimum monthly fee on water usage until property is rented.

Late Fee Policy- A $10.00 late fee will be assessed on unpaid accounts after the due date, $50 for commercial accounts. Failure to receive a statement in the mail does not excuse the account from being assessed a late fee. 

Delinquent Accounts & Collection Policy- If the account is not paid by the 5th of the next month, the District may disconnect service and file a lien. Reconnection may be had only after payment is paid in full, plus a $60.00 reconnection charge.  

Returned/Rejected Payment Policy- Any returned checks will be charged a $10.00 insufficient fund fee. Plus an additional $10.00 late fee, if not taken care of before or on the due date.

Deposit Refund Policy- All deposit refunds will be paid on the 2nd week of each month. 

Audience and Visitor Participation in Board Meeting- Board meetings are open to the public unless specified a closed session. If you wish to speak at a Board Meeting the office needs to be notified one week prior to be added to the agenda. 

Meter Set Policy- New meter set must be approved and set within three months of payment.
